Friday Harbor

We rode the Ferry to Friday Harbor, we parked the car and walked on, the ride was an hour each way.  What was nice everything was so close so we were able to walk to everything so that made it handy. It was beautiful seeing all the little islands and the fishing and pleasure boats!  We enjoyed the shops and eating fresh fish, the servings were large and neither one of us are hungry for supper!


Friday Harbor is located midway along the eastern shore of San Juan Island, second largest in a chain of 172 islands in the northernmost stretch of Puget Sound, and situated between Canada's Vancouver Island and the Washington State mainland.


Took a picture of Mt. Baker from the ferry, I can't believe all the snow that's still on the Mt. It was a fun place to visit.
